Carmen was born and raised in Enfield and continues to live in Town with his family.  He is a teacher at JFK Middle School and has been teaching sixth grade since 1999.

As a player, Carmen played for two years for JFK Middle School.  He then went on to play all four years at Enfield High School.

Carmen has been leading the JFK Middle School boys soccer team as their head coach since 2011.  Over the last decade, he has also been a head coach or assistant coach for several boys and girls soccer teams in Enfield, ranging from ages 2 to 15.  For the last couple of seasons, Carmen has served as a guest coach to ESA competitive teams.  He has been working closely with the Director of Coaching, Jay Rousseau.  Both Carmen and Jay have been developing curriculum for our coaches to use every day with their teams.  Additionally, Carmen has assisted with our instructional Learn2Play Program.

Carmen has been actively working towards his U.S. Soccer “D” License.  He added, “I will continue to work with the ESA family of coaches and players of all levels to develop them into doing their personal best.”
