Jay has been actively involved in soccer as a player and a coach for the past 25 years.

In addition to playing soccer in Enfield as a youth, he was also able to play with some of Connecticut’s top soccer programs including West Hartford Premier and Oakwood Premier.  Playing at the premier level, Jay was able to help lead his teams to multiple state championships. Also, as a youth, Jay was selected to play with Connecticut’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) and was able to compete against the top players from states within the eastern region of the United States.  During High School, Jay was a 4-year letterman, captain, and was an All-Conference selection.

Jay has been actively coaching soccer in Enfield for 10 years now. He currently serves in a variety of coaching roles for ESA.  He leads our coaches as the Director of Coaching.  He also is one of the directors for our Learn2Play program and oversees our Player Development Academy.  Additionally, Jay is the head coach of the U-9 Wolves Boys Academy team as well as an assistant coach for the U-13 Girls competitive team.

Jay is very dedicated to the kids, as well as the town of Enfield. Jay currently holds 12 licenses & diplomas through U.S. Soccer, and United Soccer Coaches.
