Kate grew up playing soccer in Enfield. She played for Enrico Fermi High School and later played collegiately at Springfield College.

While in high school, Kate gained her first experience as a soccer coach. She assisted with a competitive travel team in Enfield. She also helped train a premier soccer team. At Springfield College, Kate undertook several coaching courses. After graduating college, in 2012, she became the Enfield High School Junior Varsity Girls Head Coach. She led the Junior Varsity Eagles for 3 years. Kate then ascended to become the Enfield High School Girls Varsity Head Coach in 2015, a position she has held for the last 8 years.

Kate has expanded her soccer experience over the last two years to involve younger children with the work she has done with the Enfield Soccer Association. She has been a lead instructor for our instructional Learn2Play Program. Kate also serves as an ESA Developmental Staff coach and assists with our Player Development Academy, including the Academy U-8 Girls (Chameleons). She has also obtained four U.S. Soccer Grassroots coaching licenses, including the 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 certifications.
