Mike was a 4-year varsity soccer player at Enfield High School. He earned All-Conference and All-State honors during his senior season with the Eagles. Mike then went on to play collegiately at Springfield College. During his 3 years at Springfield College, he was part of their NEWMAC championship team in 2011 and their ECAC championship team in 2013.

As a coach, Mike has experience coaching at the academy, youth travel, youth premier, and high school levels. He was the Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach at Enfield High School between 2016 and 2020. In 2021, he was the Boys Assistant Varsity Coach at Enfield High School.

Mike has held a Connecticut Coaches License for five years. He is certified in First Aid/CPR. He holds a Safesport certification and has completed concussion training. Mike also works as a Physical Education teacher.
