Tony Allegro


Tony captained his Fermi High School team, where he was a 4-year Varsity Letterman. He was a 3-year All-Conference player and 2-year All-State player for the Falcons. Tony then went on to play Division 1 collegiate soccer at Sacred Heart University. During his 4 years at Sacred Heart University, he was an All-NEC Student-Athlete selection in 2005. Also, that same year, Tony led the team in assists and helped the team make their first Division 1 post-season tournament. He also worked as a work-study employee with the Sacred Heart University Athletic Center and was tasked with Recruiting/Scouting activities.

As a coach, Tony has 18 years of experience leading teams at the youth travel and premier levels. He also possesses 15 years of coaching experience at the high school level, first with Fermi High School and now as the Varsity Boys Head Coach at Enfield High School. In 2014, Tony was named the CSCA Assistant Coach of the year for high school soccer in Connecticut. This past year in 2021, he was selected as the CCC East Coach of the Year.

Tony is the director of the boy's teams for the Connecticut Football Club (CFC) North. He also serves as the director of summer soccer camps at Sportsworld. Additionally, he works as a social studies teacher at Enfield High School.
